How to wipe your PC's cache memory data

Modified on Thu, 2 Mar, 2023 at 2:07 PM

If you are not properly viewing a web page (i.e.: our blog) or cannot access a lesson on the Learn platform, you may simply need to clean up your computer's cache memory.

The procedure varies depending on the browser you are using and whether you are using a PC or a Mac.

Below we list the procedure for wiping the cache on a Windows-based PC, using the Chrome browser:

  1. Position yourself on the page you cannot see and press the F12 key on your keyboard: a data window will open on the right side of the screen (which we ignore).
  2. On the browser's command bar (top left) press on the button with the circular arrow to reload the web page and hold it down for 1-2 seconds.
  3. As soon as the drop-down menu appears, click on " Empty cache and reload manually"
  4. Wait for a few seconds and close the data windows that were opened earlier by acting on the X buttons of the data windows in the upper right corner.

If you still cannot display the page correctly, try turning off/restarting the computer.
